Man does it ever. I have a set of AURA Bass Shakers attached to my sofa. I purchased this amp to shake things up. This little amp packs enough punch to drive 4 bass shakers. An action movie on my sofa is a whole new experience.
Fantastic output to Bose speakers. Great for ipods, iphones. Incredible sound from such a small, inexpensive, unit. I love it.
Good price but it dosen't seem to have the punch that a 40 wattamp should have. I like it's small size.
Given the reasonable price I was a bit aprehensive about the quality but it is very well built. When I saw this unit it appeared as if it had been custom designed for my needs. I was looking for a small amplifier in which to plug my HD tuner, my TV, and my CD/DVD player. Anyone who needs more than 40 watts per channel is probably working with a very large area. So many components look like they were pulled from the instrument panel of the space shuttle and have two dozen knobs and switches a person would never touch in a lifetime of use. I have been using mine for a month now and am 100% satisfied with it. My setup is in an average sized room and turning the volume up more than a quarter of the way blasts me out. Very highly recommended.
It does not seem very powerful for a 40 watt amp. Everything seems good with this amp. It is quite small and the having multiple inputs and a headphone jack is a plus. I am using efficient 8 ohm speakers and have to turn it up over 1/2 way for casual listening volume. This is fine for my purposes, but is more than I expected.
